Why did you join the society?

"I had virtually no dance experience before YBLS but I always wanted to give it a try so I dragged my flatmate along and we’ve been dance partners ever since."

Why did you run for this role?

“Photography is one of my favourite things to do and I started taking pictures of our dancers at competitions last year and really enjoyed seeing people’s reactions to the photos. Being the society’s photographer really combined two hobbies I love."

What do you hope to do with your role?

"I want to be able to capture everyone’s hard work and talent on camera and record moments they can be proud of to show off to their friends and family!"

Favourite dance:

" I can’t choose I love them all. But to compete, Samba is so much fun."

​

Best YBLS Memory: 

"My favourite YBLS memory was Roses 2023. It was amazing to see everyone’s improvement in their dancing from the beginning of the year. It was also a lot of fun tying new steps and routines for the first time and wear really lovely dresses."
