Why did you join the society?
"I'd wanted to try ballroom and Latin since I was little, and uni seemed the best time and place to get something new!"

Why did you run for the role?"
"YBLS was so welcoming to me in my first year, which prompted me to run for Society Rep in my second year to give something back to the society and help continue that ethos. Running for Wellbeing Officer became a natural fit, now I'm more familiar with the society's members and have more self-confidence to take on a bigger role in making sure people feel welcome and comfortable."

What are you looking forward to in the next academic year?
"Watching our dancers come into their own, become more confident in their abilities as dancers and as people!"

What do you hope to do with your committee role?
"I hope to make sure every member feels welcomed, included and respected. Everyone who joins us is a valued member of our society, and whether you're just starting out or have been dancing for years, I'm here to make sure you know you belong here!."

What is your favourite dance? Why?
"Controversial choice but I love samba, the rhythms and technique are really tricky but every class feels like a party!"
